Hey! I’m Brooke.

Growing up, Sports Illustrated articles were masked as bedtime stories. Starter jackets and coordinating Nikes were a rite of passage and heavyweight boxing matches were more entertaining than Cartoon Network. Being a child of the 90s and the first born daughter of an all-American collegiate wide receiver and KU’s first Black cheer captain β€” sports were the only way of life. And while sports occupied one corner of my brain, another part was enthralled by fashion magazines and style blogs, where I studied Sartorialists and carefully curated my own ideas of style. Most importantly, though, I rooted myself in the culture. Black culture is pop culture β€” and as a Black woman taking up space in this world, I keep the culture top of mind, because it drives everything I do.

That’s why I operate at the intersections of sport, style and the culture.

I’m a conceptual creative and multi-disciplinary with an archival mind + nuanced perspective. A reformed corporate animal with over a decade’s experience; I left behind legal marketing and fintech to follow my dreams of being a full-time creative. Since then, I’ve left my mark on campaigns with global brands like Nike, JD Sports and Apple. My experience includes B2B, B2C, influencer marketing, from intentional casting to creative direction, as well as both paid and owned media. As an ACD, I’ve owned projects from brief to delivery with care, patience and a keen eye for detail. I'm part writer, part culture critic and in my freetime, moonlight as a Gen Z micro internet personality.
