For WNBA All-Star Weekend, AT&T showed up bigger than ever: celebrating connection, creativity, and the culture of women’s basketball through a multi-layered fan experience. Making sure every fan felt like VIP, they signed up for texts that unlocked exclusive merch, pedicab rides, content from icons A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu and more.
When fans signed up for text alerts, they were gifted exclusive sneaker charms that featured A’ja and Sabrina’s signatures along with an AT&T x WNBA jersey charm.
Texts also alerted fans to exclusive merch drops. In partnership with designer Shema Love, AT&T dropped a limited-edition merch capsule that blended sport and streetwear with limited edition totes and tees inspired by A’ja and Sabrina.
Fans got to step into the game — literally. With an LED court featuring larger-than-life WNBA superstars A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu, our game, 4-Point Plays anchored the space. Inspired by the players’ signature moments — from A’ja’s dominance in the paint to Sabrina’s sharp-shooter confidence — fans got a chance to hoop it up, working toward AT&T’s newly debuted 4-point shot, made just for All-Star Weekend.
Inspired by the bold expression of WNBA players and fans, the nail station served up M’VIP treatment with offered custom manicures designed around team colors and basketball-inspired motifs.
From meet and greets to custom fashion moments, the experience positioned AT&T as a true champion of women’s sports and self-expression. Every detail, from the 4-Point Plays to the last sneaker charm, reinforced that when connection drives the game, everyone wins.
